Interested in a career in finance? Lincoln International Business School Alumnus, Jamie Cohen, will be delivering a talk about his career journey after graduating from Lincoln.

Jamie graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance, before completing a MSc Finance degree in 2015. After his Masters’, Jamie secured a role as an Operations Analyst for Cantab Capital Partners, a systematic hedge fund.

Whilst at Cantab he worked on various projects from the operational launches of new funds and strategies to managing a billion-dollar treasury portfolio.

Within four years, Jamie was promoted to Operations Manager where he co-managed a team of three analysts on day-to-day operations and key projects.

He is now leaving Cantab Capital to start an MBA at Oxford University in September 2021.

Jamie’s talk will include demystifying hedge funds, how his degrees have helped him in his career, as well as discussing and comparing the types of finance jobs within the investment world and potential routes in.
