Lincoln International Business School MSc Marketing with Luxury Brands graduate, Thi Nguyen (Ann), has secured a senior post of ‘Senior Design Consultant’ at Kohler Co.

Thi, who studied the programme 2019-20, started this exciting role in November 2020.

Kohler Co., Wisconsin, US, was funded in 1873. It’s a global leader in designing innovative kitchen and bath products, a new portfolio added to its smart home product ranges. As one of America’s oldest and largest privately held companies operating internationally.

Thi is responsible for proposing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and working as a consultant for new products development and design in Kohler Co’s Vietnam market.

She appreciated an opportunity to embark her post-graduate (PGT) study of MSc Marketing with Luxury Brands at the University of Lincoln and commented that the knowledge and skills and valuable market research experiences gained by working with a real-world company during her programme study at Lincoln, boosted her career development.

Thi has achieved two distinctions, one for her PGT dissertation, and another for the degree MSc Marketing with Luxury Brands.

Her dissertation supervisor, Dr Jialin Hardwick, who is also her MSc programme leader, commented: ‘I’m delighted to hear Thi’s good news in finding her dream job and a huge congratulations to her and to Lincoln International Business School.

“Thi was a hardworking student. It was very impressive to me that she had been actively engaged in her study throughout her time at Lincoln, including preparation and revision for seminars and lectures, critical thinking, organising and participating in group work, in-class discussions and debates, and conducting a market research project by working with an award-winning company offered by the programme.

“Our graduate’s success shows the quality of our post-graduate teaching and research that is student-engaged, as well as the impact on creating a real value to the student in applying for a high-end job, contributed to her career growth.”

Congratulations, Thi!
