Sending a huge well done to Fashion Management Masters student Chera-Leigh Frieslaar  who has achieved a place on the coveted Ellen MacArthur Foundation programme, ‘From Linear to Circular London’.

The programme consists of a ten-week interactive webinar series led by the Ellen MacArthur experts, featuring guest speakers, questions and answers and interactive challenges.  Chera-Leigh has been accepted onto the online phase of the programme and at the end of the ten-weeks the Foundation will make a final selection for the next phase of face-to-face workshops.

Chera-Leigh applied for this international programme by supplying a personal statement along with a 90 second video clip providing her thoughts on the economy and how she could contribute to the transition to a circular economy.

After the completion of the workshops selected individuals will join the community of Ellen MacArthur Foundation circular economy pioneers.

Chera-Leigh commented “ This programme will allow me to connect with many experts in the field. The experience will be a valuable contribution to my dissertation subject, collaborating with like-minded applicants and professionals. I hope to gain great insight into the Circular Economy, particularly in relation to the Fashion Industry – an area I hope to work within upon graduation”
