Colleagues across the Lincoln International Business School are celebrating the success of Tourism, Transport, Travel and Heritage Studies who, with an overall score of 99% rose to 3rdplace in the Complete University Guide 2022 UK rankings.
This was the highest rating achieved amongst University of Lincoln programmes, rising from 6th place in 2021 to 3rd just twelve months later. Student satisfaction, one of various components used to compile the guide scored 92%, a very positive outcome for a Department that strives to provide the best experience possible.
Marketing, the other area within the Department also saw positive improvement in the rankings, increasing to 24th position out of 130 institutions with an overall score of 90%
Head of Marketing, Languages and Tourism Department Farhan Ahmed commented; “The Complete University Guide 2022 league position for the Department of Marketing, Languages and Tourism is a fantastic achievement in light of the current circumstances. It is a testament to the team and the sustained and considerable effort that each individual puts into the student experience. We are very proud of the nurturing, caring and positive environment we have created for students within the Department and this is consistently reflected in the high league positions. This accolade is wonderful recognition for the Department and a team who work so incredibly hard”
