Congratulations to Associate Professor and Programme Leader Tracey White who has been awarded National Teaching Fellow status.

Tracey, who has worked for the University of Lincoln for over seven years is a well-respected colleague, is known in particular for her work within work based distance learning.

Speaking of her award, Tracey said: “I am extremely honoured and proud to be recognised as a National Teaching Fellow. Since I started working in Higher Education I have been passionate about enabling and empowering adult learning.

“I have focused on innovation in learning, teaching and assessment and providing high quality educational experiences, which are accessible for all, drawing upon my own experiences as an adult learner to help to shape and form my practice.

“Throughout my academic journey and across universities, I have been privileged to work closely with academic colleagues and professional service staff, who put students at the heart of everything they do.

“Together, we ensure that learners have the necessary infrastructure and support to succeed.  To have this acknowledged through such a prestigious award means a lot to me.

Dr Craig Marsh, Pro Vice Chancellor for the Lincoln International Business School, added his praise: I am really delighted for Tracey that she has received this honour.

“She has made a substantial contribution in recent years to the expansion of our educational offer to adult learners, and she entirely deserves this national recognition for her expertise, innovative thinking, and leadership in learning and teaching.”
