On Tuesday 20th October, the department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics at the Lincoln International Business School organised an online social quiz for their students and staff.
The evening was an enjoyable occasion with first year Business and Finance student Bonnie Harvey-Piggot being the only person to provide the exact answers in the Countdown Numbers round. The other winner was Nathan Shasby, who excelled on the catchphrase category.
Following her victory, Bonnie commented: “I found the quiz a great way to ‘meet’ some of the lecturers and other students in a more informal way.
“We had great fun and it was nice to be able to have some chats with each other which has also led to me making some more friends on similar courses.”
Both student winners received an Amazon gift card, as well as having the pride of being the AFE Quiz Champions of 2020!
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped, especially new Associate Lecturer Phil Walker who did an excellent job as hostess Rachel Riley.
With plans afoot for the 2021 quiz, here’s hoping the next one can be face to face.
