LIBS Academics Win Emerald Literati Award for Second Consecutive Year

Congratulations to Lincoln International Business School academics, Dr Andrea Caputo and Dr Giacomo Marzi, for being awarded a prestigious Emerald Literati Award for their article: “Ten years of conflict management research 2007–2017: an update on themes, concepts and relationships”.

For over 25 years, the Emerald Literati Awards have been celebrating and rewarding outstanding contributions of authors and reviewers, and, as previous award winners, Andrea and Giacomo, (in conjunction with co-authors based around the world), have scooped the 2020 accolade with the editorial team describing their output as “ …one of the most exceptional pieces of work … throughout 2019”.

The winning study mapped the intellectual structure of conflict management studies by investigating the key themes, concepts and their relationships for the period 2007-2017.

It is hoped that this will help scholars to improve their understanding of the evolution of conflict management studies and the direction that conflict management research is taking, in particular, identifying available avenues for future research.

Andrea and Giacomo recognise the importance of collaboration, with this particular study being the result of a year-long coordinated effort between academics in the UK, Australia and Switzerland. Andrea commented: “As a team we are delighted to receive a 2020 Literati Award.

“This global recognition confirms to us the relevance and importance of international collaborations in producing scholarly research along with the importance of bibliometric methods in developing high impact studies.”
