Professor Charbel Awarded One of Four Grants by the Midlands Engine Observatory

Congratulations to Global Chair, Professor Charbel, on recently being awarded one of four grants by the Midlands Engine Observatory.

Professor Charbel Jose Chiappetta Jabbour, from the Lincoln International Business School, submitted a proposal entitled: ‘ACURSC – ‘Anti-COVID-19 Capabilities Underpinning Resilient Supply Chains’ framework: evidence from manufacturing firms in food supply chains in the Midlands-UK’  which has been granted £13,000 to aid him in his research.

Charbel commented: “I am pleased to confirm that Midlands Engine Observatory has approved the research proposal submitted by LIBS.

“With this project, LIBS colleagues and I will have the opportunity of applying our world-class research methodology to better understanding regional issues regarding agri-food supply chains in such a critical moment.

“This kind of regionally-focused research project is vital to level up economic development and ensure that our research has real transformational impact.”
