LIBS Academic Awarded Funding for Research Proposal

Congratulations to Professor Charbel Jose Chiappetta Jabbour, Global Chair at the Lincoln International Business School, who, in conjunction with the UoL School of Engineering (Global Chair Mini Saaj, and Dr. Sepehr Malekihave) have been awarded £141,461.44 from Innovate UK Call for their research proposal entitled, ‘Manufacturing made smarter: digital supply chain, feasibility studies’.

The research project on digital supply chains in the research and development industry will be in partnership with UK firms including PERPETUAL LABS LTD.

Lincoln International Business School will receive a fraction of direct funding from IUK, along with funding for a part time Research Assistant to support Prof Jabbour in his work.

Charbel commented on the project: “2021 looks like a very busy, but promising year and this project, in conjunction with colleagues from the School of Engineering will allow us to utilise our collaborative skills by mapping gaps in supply chains of the UK digital economy”.
