Academics from the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics (AFE), based in the Lincoln International Business School, are delighted to announce they have signed a contact with Vietnamese Company, ‘Marvin Group’ worth £80,000.
Dr Hao Quach, who has been pioneering the School’s collaboration with the country, is celebrating after this latest positive development which will be used to fund the research and consultancy activities.
The contract, which is initially for a two year period, is expected to enhance engagement with industry practitioners and policy makers through conferences and seminars.
Other outputs are expected including four to five REF research publications along with an impact case study focusing on value creation in the business integration process within the Vietnamese agribusiness sector.
Lincoln International Business School students will also be beneficiaries of this development, with international placements and internships also forming part of the agreement.
Dr Quach, lead of the project comments on the latest LIBS/Vietnamese collaboration, said: “I am delighted about this contract signing, the first business consultancy contract by the AFE team.
“It has not only brought research and enterprise income but also opened up opportunities for business consultancy and industrial collaboration.
“The contract is one of a range of collaborative activities that we will conduct with the partner in our long-term strategy for industry engagement.”
