A collaboration between Physical Education and Sports Business Management undergraduate and masters students saw the delivery of a wheelchair basketball game on the 9th May.
With the assistance of TEAM GB Sports Business Management Student James Hazell and Ian Brown from Active Lincolnshire participants saw the professionalism, speed and skill of wheelchair users in this sport. They had the opportunity to navigate around obstacles, developing basic throwing and shooting techniques and eventually concluded with a game.

The students really enjoyed the interactive, physical session and were inspired by this great inclusive sport. Opportunities such as these, where they get to collaborate, organise and deliver an event are vital to their educational development
