Our Senior Leader Apprenticeship is back!Woman behind LIBS logo and text 'Degree Apprenticeship'

The Lincoln International Business School is delighted to announce the launch of our remodelled Level 7 qualification, Senior Leader Apprenticeship (SLA), now enrolling for January 2024. The SLA is designed for leaders who need to understand their business at a strategic level. It helps aspiring middle and senior-level leaders develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to further advance their careers and lead to a level of excellence recognised nationally by the senior leader standard. The SLA comprises five core units that drive personal growth and organisational impact. Each module explores key universal themes with contemporary leadership challenges, informed by cutting-edge research.

  • Leading and Developing High-Performance Teams
  • Governance: Finance, Risk, Analytics and Communications
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Sustainable Futures
  • Integrated Research and Consultancy Project

Each module links to specific knowledge, skills and behaviours within the SLA standard. Learners will undertake work-based activities, from which they will generate evidence of how they demonstrate the apprenticeship standards, forming part of their professional portfolio. The Lincoln SLA is flexible online or a blended delivery model that suits the needs of the apprentice and the employer.   Apprentices will personalise their learning journey and apply it directly to your organisation. Guided by their Personal Support Tutor, they can ensure that their work is on point and impactful to both the organisation and the apprentice. The End Point Assessment is reflective of the learning journey and ties up the knowledge, skills, and behaviours through a strategic work-based project. This will be through a presentation of their strategic plan, followed by a professional discussion. Assessments throughout the apprenticeship will be a range of assignments, presentations, and applied projects. On passing the apprenticeship, the employee obtains a Level 7 apprenticeship, a Chartered Management Institute Level 7 Diploma, Chartered Manager Status, and a Postgraduate Diploma, which can be converted to an MBA.
