Amidst a highly competitive selection process, Josh emerged as the ideal candidate for this prestigious internship opportunity with ABTA – The Travel Association. Reflecting on the rigorous selection process, Josh provided insights into his preparation and approach.
The selection process involved crafting a detailed presentation in response to key prompts, focusing on my motivation for pursuing the internship, insights into the travel preferences of the 16-24 age group, and why I would be the ideal candidate for ABTA. Drawing from my experiences and academic background, I presented a compelling case supported by my passion for the industry.
Looking ahead to his upcoming internship with ABTA, Josh expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to gain invaluable industry exposure and collaborate with seasoned professionals. Josh is also looking forward to acquiring new skills and insights in travel marketing, furthering his trajectory towards a successful career in tourism management.
When asked about his advice for fellow students seeking industry experience, Josh emphasised the importance of proactive engagement and leveraging available resources:
