We were delighted to host at the Lincoln international Business School Natalie T. Churyk, the PwC Professor of Accountancy, the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Accounting Education, with a research visit as part of ongoing research collaboration between the University of Lincoln (UK) and Northern Illinois University (USA). Prof. Churyk, PhD, CPA, is the American Accounting Association (AAA) Vice President of Education (2023–2026), Chair of AAA Education Committee (2023–2026), Member of AICPA&CIMA Academic Executive Committee (2023–2026). She has published over 50 journal articles in academic and professional journals, and has received research grants from PwC, the Institute of Management Accountants, AICPA&CIMA, and her university. She has been awarded multiple research and teaching innovation awards. Her most recent honors include: 2024 KPMG sponsored AAA GIWB Best Paper Award, 2022 EY Foundation sponsored AAA TLC Best Paper Award, 2022 ICPAS Outstanding Educator Award, and 2021 KPMG Foundation sponsored AAA TLC Section Hall of Honor Award.
