From Classroom to Community: LIBS Students Boost Lincolnshire Action Trust’s Marketing Strategies

Over the past two years, an innovative partnership between Lincoln International Business School (LIBS) and Lincolnshire Action Trust (LAT) has been making waves!

LAT, a major regional charity working tirelessly within the criminal justice system to reduce re-offending, teamed up with LIBS to bring a fresh perspective to their marketing efforts. Elise O’Grady and Nadin Goubrial, two talented marketing students were selected to work remotely alongside LAT, focusing on key areas like branding and social media marketing in the non-profit sector.

Under the expert guidance of Connie Jarvis, LAT’s Marketing Manager and LIBS Senior Lecturer in Marketing, Peter Mount, the students have been making a real-world impact. The collaboration offers significant benefits, not just in enhancing the marketing communications of a prominent local non-profit, but also in providing invaluable, hands-on experience for our students.

This is a win-win situation: LAT benefits from innovative marketing strategies, and our students gain high-level, demonstrable experience in non-profit marketing. Stay tuned for more updates on partnerships and projects like this one that give our students great experiential opportunities alongside their studies.
