Senior LIBS Academics Deliver Talk at the Vietnam Economic Scenario Conference

Two senior Lincoln International Business School academics from the department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics (AFE), Dr David Gray and Dr Hao Quach, virtually delivered thought pieces to a large audience of directors, scholars and policy makers at the Vietnam Economic Scenario Conference, organised by the Ministry of Investment and Planning, the State Bank of Vietnam and the Vietnam Economic Times.

Whilst Dr Gray discussed the global economy and recent free trade deal between the UK and Vietnam, Dr Quach delivered on economic growth, monetary policy and stock markets.

Feedback has been positive, with several write ups in the media, and direct discussions with the State Bank of Vietnam.

This collaboration is just the latest in a close working relationship developed between the department of AFE and Vietnam with Doctor’s Gray and Quach activity promoting UK/Vietnamese economic research.

Dr Quach commented: “Our contribution to this esteemed forum held on the 11th January has marked a new achievement for the Lincoln International Business School with our work being absorbed by the government and policy makers of Vietnam.”
