Why study a Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship with the University of Lincoln?

The Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship, (CMDA) gives apprentices the opportunity to achieve not only a Level 6 Apprenticeship but also full bachelor’s degree in professional practice in Leadership and Management. Degree apprenticeships combine both higher and vocational education, meaning apprentices are able to develop and test both wider occupational competence and academic learning.

Learning can fit around work commitments to help apprentices fulfil their current management career/aspirations, and, upon completion, apply for Chartered Manager status. With a potential of 95% funding towards studies funded by the Apprenticeship Levy and all modules designed to be relevant to your organisation, this programme provides both employees and the employers with a rewarding opportunity.

How a Degree Apprenticeship can Benefit an Employer

The CMDA is flexible, allowing apprentices to work through a range of blended learning methods that can fit into their work structure. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work on developing their knowledge, skills and behaviours applicable to their current role, which can also benefit their workplace. CMDA modules aim to upskill the workforce, with participants disseminating their skills to colleagues via coaching and mentoring, leading their teams effectively to help increase business productivity.

A degree apprenticeship demonstrates the commitment an organisation has to developing its workforce, which can lead to higher staff morale and productivity with energised, engaged employees who feel they are making a positive difference. Employers are fully involved in the educational journey ensuring a committed partnership between the University of Lincoln, employers and employees.
