Reimagining Lincolnshire – Black History Month Exhibitions

Reimagining Lincolnshire has been involved in preparing two exhibitions for Black History Month. One features Lincolnshire’s lost black sculptor, Mahomet Thomas Phillips. You’re invited to visit this exhibition in the Library and participate in the conversation about how we might celebrate him on campus. We would like to see more inclusive stories in our physical surroundings.

The other exhibition, mounted in association with the IBCC Digital Archive and supported by EGI, focuses on the black and brown RAF personnel who served in the UK during the Second World War. Many stories featured here are told for the first time. The exhibition will be on display in the Minerva Building from mid-October.
