The Lincoln International Business School, (LIBS), is delighted to announce that its Executive Education offering has now expanded beyond Lincoln to Grantham, Louth and soon Scunthorpe.
On Tuesday 28th January, the highly successful programme, ‘Developing a Managerial Mindset’, (DMM), was launched with East Lindsey District Council, meaning that the programme is now available to business professionals in Lincoln, Grantham and Louth. In June 2020, DMM will also be available at the University Centre North Lindsey in Scunthorpe. The programme, designed in collaboration with local organisations is aimed at aspiring, new and existing managers and develops fundamental managerial skills. Participants attend one face to face workshop per month, apply their learning in their workplace and undertake up to two visits to other companies.
Councillor Adam Grist, Portfolio Holder for Market Towns and Rural Economy said of the expansion – “It’s great to see this programme getting underway and I’m thankful to the University of Lincoln for working with us to bring this course to East Lindsey businesses. I’m sure the delegates will find it invaluable and the skills they learn will be of real long-term benefit to their businesses and the district.”
Craig Marsh, Pro Vice Chancellor for LIBS commented “I am delighted we are working with East Lindsey District Council to offer our exciting ’Developing a Managerial Mindset’ programme in Louth this spring. Having successfully delivered this programme to nearly 100 managers for the last two and half years in Lincoln and Grantham, it’s fantastic, as a civic university, to be able to extend our offering to other areas of the county.”
With start dates for new cohorts fast approaching, (Grantham in March, Lincoln in April and UCNL in June), please contact LIBS_Exec@lincoln.ac.uk if you have any queries or would like to register.
