LIBS Academic Nominated by Students for Teaching Excellence Award

October 2020 Update:

Lincoln International Business School colleague, Dr Nadia Gulko, has been shortlisted following nominations by students for the CIMA Teaching Excellence Award 2020.

Nadia said: “It is a pleasure and privilege to become one of the four shortlisted nominees for the Global CIMA Teaching Excellence Award 2020.

“The 2020 winners will be announced during CIMA inaugural virtual celebration on 11th December. This award recognises a CIMA subject lecturer who has demonstrated excellent engagement with CIMA students and effectively helped them to enhance their understanding of the subject taught.

“I would like to thank all my colleagues and students for their support and votes. For me, teaching is about helping students realise their full potential in learning and encouraging personal development to improve employability.

“The greatest reward for me is seeing my students succeeding as real professionals in the world of work after university.”

Congratulations to Lincoln International Business School colleague, Dr Nadia Gulko, who has been nominated by students for the CIMA Teaching Excellence Award 2020.

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants prestigious accolade acknowledges Nadia’s teaching excellence, curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.

As a Senior Lecturer in Accounting, and School Director of Teaching and Learning, Dr Gulko’s contribution to not only LIBS, but the University of Lincoln is very much valued.

Nadia commented on her nomination: “It is a pleasure and privilege to be nominated for this award by my students.

Winning the award relies on a points based system with student nominations for Nadia resulting in points.  Current students, along with alumni are eligible to vote here.
