Sir Jon Thompson Shares Expertise with Business School Students

Sir Jon Thompson, CEO of the Financial Reporting Council, delivers speech and Interactive Q&A session virtually for Lincoln International Business School Students. 

Over 185 students, staff and professionals attended the event which was organised in partnership with Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln ICAEW Chartered Accountants by the District Society’s Vice President and Senior Lecturer, Catriona Hyde.

Sir Jon provided the audience with engaging and interesting insights into the role of the regulator and the ongoing audit reforms.  He also discussed the impacts that the proposed changes are likely to have for students working within the profession.

Dr Craig Marsh, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director of Lincoln International Business School, attended the talk and commented: “I really enjoyed the talk and more importantly our students derived immense value from Sir Jon’s insights.”
