Staff from the Lincoln International Business School’s Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics have organised another successful international conference in collaboration with the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, on the 27th September 2021.
The conference agenda, aimed at academics, students and practitioners from around the world, featured the University of Lincoln Research Symposium as well as a formal acknowledgement for the PHD partnership between the University of Lincoln and The University of Economics.
Warm welcomes were issued by Lincoln International Business School’s Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Craig Marsh, Head of Department, Siobhan Goggin, and Vietnamese Higher Education leaders.
The keynote speakers attended from the USA, Korea, and India as well as presentations from Lincoln International Business School academics.
As well as further cementing the excellent relationship between Lincoln and Vietnam, it was noted that the collaboration benefits the UK/Vietnamese policy and economic research, with a consortium planned to further expand this area of mutual interest.
Dr Hao Quach, who helped organise the event, commented: “It was once again an honour to collaborate with academic colleagues in Vietnam in hosting this international conference.
“We were delighted by the range of attendees from around the world, and the notable contribution they made to the agenda.”
