Lincoln International Business School is delighted to announce that on the 15th June, Senior Lecturer James Wright was awarded Training Provider of the Year by Digital Finance Function.
James pipped the other shortlisted professionals to the prize at the London ceremony and was presented this accolade by Chris Argent, Managing Director of Generation CFO.
James commented:
“I’m delighted to be recognised for all of the fantastic collaborations that I have represented LIBS at whilst working with the professional accountancy body ACCA. The partnership will continue to grow and benefit LIBS students who would like to pursue a career in the accountancy and finance field. A huge thank you to everyone in LIBS who has supported me in external student and professional engagement projects. I really appreciate all of your help no matter what obstacles we have faced and this award wouldn’t have been possible without your continued support. Thank you so much to all of the LIBS team!”
Head of Accountancy, Finance and Economics Siobhan Goggin added:
“I am delighted for James. This epitomises years of hard work representing the Department and the University with ACCA. This award was achieved against stiff competition from other training providers and will certainly enhance the standing of the Department with ACCA with whom we have a long standing relationship. Congratulations James, we are all very proud of you. Another fine example of the progress of one of our alumni.”
